It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Elwin Griffin of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Griffin and John D. Griffin; his daughter Karen Denise Griffin; his brother John Griffin, Jr.; and his nephew David Griffin.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Griffin; his daughters, Donna Vines (Tommy) and Vikki Busby (Shannon); his grandchildren, Kristen Wyatt (Clint), Jessica Calfee (Trey), Griffin Davis and Brynlee Davis; his great grandchild Ivy Lynn Calfee; and his brother Dale Griffin (Evangeline).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Chilton County Humane Society at 139 Shade Tree Drive, Clanton, AL 35045, in memory of his beloved dogs Max, Pepi, and Toby.
