Jerry David Popwell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry David Popwell of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Popwell and Dollie Smitherman Popwell; his wife Judy Moates Popwell; his granddaughter Alexandra Popwell; and his siblings, Pat Popwell, Gene A. Popwell, Lula Popwell Bowden, Mary Frances Popwell, Myra Popwell Parker and Peggy Popwell Thompson.

He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Popwell (Brianna) and Jerry Allen Popwell (April); his grandchildren, Logan Popwell, Peyton Popwell and Addison Popwell; and his sister June Popwell Traywick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
