She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Horace Burnett and Alma Grace Burnett; and her grandmother Ruth Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Ray Chastain; her children, Stephen Brian Chastain (Natlie) and Karen Beth Hicks (David); her grandchildren, Ashley Crowson (Tyler), Emily Bynum (Eathan), Emma Chastain, Brayden Chastain, Caitlin Orner (Russell) and Ashton Hicks (Carlie); her great grandchildren, Russell Orner, Weston Crowson, Lydia Hicks, Anna Orner and Harper Hicks; and her sister Pam Reynolds.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045).
