He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Whaley and Lois Sherrer Whaley; his wife Avie Whaley; and his son Barry Jack Whaley. He is survived by: his son Tony Whaley (Misti) of Gulf Shores, AL; his grandchildren, Brian Whaley of Birmingham, AL, Anna Cook (Roddrell) of Pinson, AL and Sharon Whaley of Oneonta, AL; his great grandchildren, Makiya Whaley of Pinson, AL, Jaelyn Whaley of Pinson, AL and Everly Whaley of Oneonta, AL; his nieces, Alfreida Phillip (Todd) and Janet Scott (Jerry); and his nephew Sonny Yates.
