He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard James Easterling and Maggie Giles Easterling; his wife Wilma Mable Mims Easterling; and his siblings, James Morris Easterling, Thomas Frank Easterling, Jimmie Ross and Frances Payton.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Sue Galloway of Birmingham; his sons, Horace Daniel Easterling (Jeaneatta) of Texas and David Easterling (Jodie) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Danielle Fritsch, Adam Easterling, Jonathan Easterling, Erik Easterling and Aaron Micheal Easterling. He is also survived by thirteen Great-Grandchildren.
