She was predeceased by: her son Dwight Marcus; her siblings, Odell Nelson, Billy Nelson, Donald Nelson, Ruth Moates and Inez Owens; and her parents, Jesse James Nelson and Evelyn Gertrude Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Pacheco (Cesar) and Charlotte Martin (Aubrey); and her grandchildren, Damon Lucas, Rachel Marcus and Emily Pacheco.
