He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Harris and Stella Harris; his daughter Melissa Hays; and his siblings, Odis Ray Harris, Donald Harris, Jerry Wayne Harris and Vivian Aaron.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Moore; his daughters, Nancy Wilson (Paul) and Holly Porter (Phillip); his son-in-law Jerry Hays; his grandchildren, Jeremy Hays (Anna), Marissa Norton (John), Marybeth Porter and Makiley Porter; his great grandchild Jenson Norton; and his sister Glenda Nix.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clanton Church of God (700 15th Ave, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery (Mt Zion Rd, Alabama 35503).
