He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert King and Emma King; and his brother Jerry King. He is survived by: his wife Martha K. King; his children, Joel King (Angela) and Karen Edwards (Chris); his siblings, Carolyn Whatley, Mary Sue Higgins and Phillip King (Celia); and his stepson Jason Varden.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jemison First Baptist Church (24348 US-31, Jemison, AL 35085). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
