She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scott Collins and Fannie Childress Collins; her husband Joseph Jackson; her son Sidney Ward; and her siblings, Vollie Collins, Buck Collins, Kermit Collins, Era Collins Patterson and Verma Collins Gore.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Joe Ward (Donna) of Thorsby, Jerry Mason Ward (Debbie) of Clanton and Judy Ann Bain of Clanton. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
