He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith and Odessa Bullins Smith; his son Kerry L. Smith; and his sister Mildred Smith. He is survived by: his wife Martha L. Smith; his children, Johnny B Smith (Janet) and Jennifer S. Jones (Doug); his daughter-in-law Kerry A. Smith; and his sisters, Louise Firkins and Jeanette McWhorter. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
