She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Mims and Annie Ree Mims; her husband Raybon Rushing; and her brothers, O'Neil Mims and Gerald Mims.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Rushing (Paige) and Tammy Cleckler (Jackie); her grandsons, Kevin Cleckler (Candi), Adam Rushing (Stephanie) and Tyler Rushing (Anna); and her brothers, Gary Mims (Gail) and Steve Mims (Joellyn). She is also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great Great-Grandchild.
