She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clark Leigh, Sr. and Laura Stella Mills Leigh; and her brother George Clark Leigh, Jr. (Peggy). She is survived by: her husband Rev. Mahlon Scott Felkins, Jr. of Clanton; her children, Pamela Felkins Colbert of Vestavia, Mahlon Scott Felkins III (Selena) of Sylacauga and Laurie Vollenweider (Ray) of Hoover; her grandchildren, Major Adam Colbert, Ansley Grace Felkins Johnston, John Houston Felkins, Marc Austen Vollenweider and Aaron Matthew Vollenweider; her great grandchildren, Addie Colbert, Roland Colbert, Braden Johnston, Alice Johnston, Eleanor Vollenweider, Ivy Vollenweider, Kathryn Vollenweider, Margaret Vollenweider and Miles Vollenweider; and her brothers, Henry Leigh (Kathy) and John Robert Leigh (Delores).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
