He is survived by: his children, Bridget Byrd, Barrett Byrd (Lynette) and Brandon Byrd (Julia); the mother of his children Dianna Byrd; his grandchildren, Brennen Byrd, Wrenley Byrd and Wrylen Byrd; his sister Carol Atkins; his brother-in-law Robert Atkins; his nieces, Christy Bingham (Scott) and Amanda Clegg (Joseph); and his nephew Tom Atkins (Sheryl).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (16641 Prine Rd, Citronelle, AL 36522).
