It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Vernon Fretwell of Citronelle, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garfield Fretwell and Stella Fretwell; his wife Evelyn Fretwell; his children, Debbie McNealy (Chuck), David Kauffman (Lisa), Randy Fretwell (Patti) and Stacie Kauffman; his grandchildren, Brittany Hamblin, Christopher McNealy of Kendall Lavoie, D. J, Berry, Korey Kauffman, Shelby Lambert, Chandler Kauffman and Allyssa Fretwell; and his siblings, Lois Wooley, Wendall Fretwell, Ovenia Howard, Loraine Henderson, Edna Bedgood, Louise Parrent, Doris Ridge, Jimmy Fretwell and Carolyn Farmer. He was also cherished by fourteen great-grandchildren.
