She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Jean VanEtten. She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Sturdivant; her children, Karen C. Austin (Marlon), Angelia C. Mashburn (Sterling Rivers), Stephen Roy Mashburn, Sr. (Sylvia) and Otis Wayne Evans; her grandchildren, Charles P. Kinard (Cinty), Brittany Catlin (Dar), Jennifer Finch, Christopher Mashburn (Ashley), Cassidy Mashburn, Madison Mashburn, Stephen Mashburn Jr., Caitlin Boyington and Gabe Woods (Elizabeth); and her siblings, Betty Schilling (John), Sheryl VanEtten and Timothy VanEtten. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
