Harold Hershberger Obituary
Harold Richard Hershberger, first born son and grandson, passed away Monday, May 04, 2020. Harold was a true child of God. Harold loved everyone and was loved by everyone who came into his 40 years of life. Harold was raised up in the furniture moving and trucking industry, being around diesel's all his life. He has a world of friends.
Harold was a "jack of all trades;" a man that knew a lot about all things. Harold's quote: "Don't talk about it, be about it.". Harold was a high school graduate, a First Class welder and Ace mechanic. Harold loved riding his motorcycle. Harold could drive and build anything with wheels on it. He enjoyed teaching his son to repair, build, and work on their many projects.
Harold became deeply saddened after the death of son Harold Joseph in 2018. Harold will be greatly missed by family and all who knew him. Harold was preceded in death by his father, Harold J Hershberger; son, Harold J Hershberger, II; along with his uncle, Frank Carroll. Harold left behind his daughter, Morgan Hershberger (Sims); son, Hunter Hershberger; mom, Karen Prieto; step "Pops", Martin Prieto; brother, Mark Hershberger (Tamara Pytel); sister, Resslyn Hershberger Wilburn (Joshua Wilburn); grandma, Nelrie Carroll, who helped raise Harold, and had been with him through all his life; uncles and aunts, Paul Hershberger, Timothy Hershberger, Debra Sullivan (Alfred Sullivan), Tony Ballentina (Rochelle Ballentina), Buford Carroll Jr. (Linda Carroll), Archie "DeeDee" Carroll (Regina Carroll), Bobby Carroll (Dora Carroll), Needham "Pee-Wee" Carroll (Angela Carroll); a multitude of other aunts, great aunts, uncles, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
In Harold's last days he spent in his home, Harold was aided and cared for by all his family, but mostly his uncle, Bobby Carroll, aunt, Dora, and cousin, Bobby Jr., who lived in his house with Harold and was at his every beck and call. A graveside service will be held for Harold at 1pm Saturday, May 09, 2020, at Byrd Cemetery.
