He was predeceased by: his son Chris Turner; his parents, Gaines Turner and Mary Turner; and his siblings, Emmaline Stewart, Noel Turner, Mary Ann Williams, Ona Mae Mathis and Wilhelmena Prine.
He is survived by: his children, David D. Turner (Bridgett) and Catherine Lynn Turner. He is also survived by family, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (19180 Center St, Citronelle, AL 36522). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at the Oakwaukee Cemetery.
