He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Long; his stepfather Robert Long; his father Charles Lamar Fleming; his brother George Fleming; and his son-in-law Harold Saranthus, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Angele Fleming; his daughters, Charlene Saranthus and Tammy Walker (Wade); his stepson Lee Smith (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Marcus Saranthus (Keri), Jennifer Willis (Ryan), Wade Walker, Jr. (Hallie), Victoria Tillman (Nick), Taylor Wilbur (Mason), Lacie Smith and Macie Hollinghead (Garrett). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (19180 Center St, Citronelle, AL 36522). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Cemetery (1450 MS-594, Leakesville, MS 39451).
