He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Turner and Vacie Bell Turner; and his siblings, Eddie Arnold Turner, R. D. Turner, Rayburn Turner, Willie Turner, Alton Turner, Adele Morgan and Vera Downey.
He is survived by: his brother William Turner (Charlotte); and his siblings-in-law, Tommie Turner and L. D. Morgan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
