She was predeceased by: her husband Quinnie Echols, Sr.; her daughters, Elsie Weaver (Robert Tim), Maxine Covington (Ted), Frances Echols (Randy) and Lisa Echols (Billy Joe); her parents, Clifford Reed and Delphine Reed; and her siblings, Elvin Reed, Gene Reed, Noel Reed and Roy Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Erma Covington (Clifton), Quinnie Echols, Jr. (Charlene), Kent Echols (Kelly), Hilda Echols (Rick) and Lila Echols (Christopher); her siblings, Benjamin Reed (Doris) and Esther Stewart; and her grandson Jamie. She is also survived by grandmother to her seventeen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Holiness Church (3095 John Johnston Rd, McIntosh, AL 36553). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Magnolia Cemetery (3095 John Johnston Rd, McIntosh, AL 36553).
