He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linnie Donald; his children, Simon Donald, III, Chris Donald, David Donald, Brandi Tucker, Scott Crawford, Jada Donald, Brooklyn Donald, Katlyn Sampson, Aalivia Sampson and Makyla Sampson; his grandchildren, Nick, Damian, Whitney, Corinthian, Brianna, Blakeley, Jocelyn, Tonie, Chloe, Preston of Jeremy, EJ and Robert; his great grandchildren, Aydin, Jayce, Christian and Kinsley; and his siblings, Robert Donald (Donna), Kathy Cunningham and James Donald (Charlene). He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
