He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Edward Werneth and Wanda Mims Long; his siblings, David William Werneth and Paula Irene Werneth; and his mother-in-law Dagma Rutherford.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Werneth; his children, Brandon Werneth, Trey Werneth (Jordan) and Kayla Kubiak (Charles); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Kaylee, Layla, Ally, Dominick, Scottie, Ashton, Olivia and CJ; his father-in-law Alfred Rutherford; and his brothers, James E. Long, Jr. (Deborah) and Paul E. Werneth (Cynthia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
