She was predeceased by: her husband Melton "Buddy" Martin, Sr.; her son Wayne Martin; her parents, Ollie Byrd and Hazel Byrd; and her siblings, Marvin Byrd, Eunice Sheffield, James Byrd, Margaret Byrd and Annette Malone.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Martin (Jeanna), Kenny Martin (Tracy) and Karen Tucker (Johnny); her grandchildren, Terra, Buddy (Lacey), Kristyna, Brian, Simon, Dawson, Lissa and Alison; and her siblings, Marilyn Gardner and Vernon "L. T.". She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
