She was predeceased by: her sons, Earl Miller, Kerry Miller and Sidney Miller; her parents, Newton Merchant and Maude Merchant Cooley; and her siblings, Charles Merchant and Debra Merchant Fulkerson.
She is survived by: her husband Wendil Carney; her children, Keith Miller (Donna), Charlotte Morgan (Mike) and Bobby Miller (Teresa); and her sisters, Eudelle Merchant Turner and Frances Merchant Lewis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Turnerville Baptist Church (13882 Roberts Rd, Chunchula, AL 36521). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Turnerville Cemetery (13882 Roberts Rd, Chunchula, AL 36521).
