He was predeceased by: his parents, Kumie Norris Carlisle and Luther Carlisle; his son Mark Carlisle; and his siblings, Shirley Richburg and Billy Ray Carlisle.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Helveston Carlisle; and his children, Rita Suteu (George), Angie Carlisle Lee, Ava Morrow (Don) and Tony Carlisle. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren & numerous great-great grandchildren.
