We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2020, at the age of 81, Betty Lou Dumas (Chunchula, Alabama), born in Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston Dumas and Linnie Bell Dumas (Beame); her husband Byron Claborn; her sister Marget Dumas Hammilton; her children, Lisa Broadus Partain, Winston "Bimbo" Broadus, Ralph Broadus, Casey Leo Broadus and Vonnie Broadus; and her grandchild Malissa Benneth Head.

She is survived by: her daughter Tonie Margaret Scrimpshire; and her sisters, Catherine Dumas Arrick, Brenda Dumas and Susan Dumas. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren.
