Wilford Gardner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2024, at the age of 79, Wilford Gardner of Childersburg, Alabama, born in Harpersville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Wilford may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilford touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lila Lee Hester and James Gardner; and his brothers, Eugene Gardner, Coley Gardner and Preston Gardner.

He is survived by: his children, Don Gardner (Melody), Tabatha Kay Lynn Osbourne (Rusty) and Misty Goins (Adam); and his siblings, Earline G. Foster, James Daniel Gardner (Barbara) and Arthur Ricky Hester. He is also survived by his 11 Grandchildren and his 10 Great Grandchildren.
