He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Elizabeth "Betty" Terrill and Robert "Bob" Mead Terrill; his son Charles "Charlie" Terrill; and his former wives, Janet Melissa Terrill and Jeanne Weir Dowd.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Terrill; his children, Byron Christopher Terrill, Melissa Terrill McCain (Mike) and Katie Weir Dowd; his stepdaughters, Sherry Bruner, Michelle Chandler and Robin Bragg; his siblings, Dr. Chris Terrill of Plano, TX and Stacy Thomson (Bill) of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Kristian Shurum, Janet "Cassidy" Grace Terrill, Jaycee Claire Terrill of Evan, Shurum, Annabella Terrill, Evee Terrill, Brittany Crowfoot (Jonathan), Crystal Stump (Timothy), Destiny Young (Austin) and Bradley Chandler. He is also survived by his 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel (1099 1st St NW, Childersburg, AL 35044). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
