It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richmond P. West (Childersburg, Alabama), who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Hamby West. He is survived by: his father Rev. John West (Pete); and his brothers, John West, Andy West and Rev. Steve West. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please send donations to the Richmond West Memorial Fund at Childersburg First United Methodist Church, this fund will be used for current church repairs; or you may make donations to Camp Sumatanga in his memory.
