It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Louise (Earley) Brooks of Childersburg, Alabama, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Maynard Earley and Bessie Louise Askew Earley. She is survived by: her children, Melanie Johnston, Georgianna Wigginton and John David Brooks (Ann); her siblings, Clyde Maynard "Tim" Earley Jr., Jimmy Earley (Laney), Frankie Earley (Pat) and Frances Earley Ingram (Tom); her grandchildren, Landon Chaz Brooks, Emiley Louise Brooks Black (C. J.), Jonathan S. Thomas (Tonya), James P. Thomas (Chanel) and Brandy Weismann (John); and her great grandchildren, Clayton Black, Dalton Thomas, Dylan Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Ellen Thomas, Sarah Thomas, Charlotte Thomas, Bailey Weismann and Gage Weismann. She is also survived by her numerous Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joyce's memory may be made to Childersburg Methodist Church; and Earl A. Rainwater Memorial Library.
