He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Stone and Sara Stone; and his siblings, Billy Stone and Judy Hardy. He is survived by: his daughters, Brittany Everett (Jody) of Lawrenceville and Courtney Stone Wright (Vincent) of Conyers; and his siblings, Harold Stone (Janice) of Sylacauga and Rita Stone of Atlanta.

“I feel horrible this has happened. He had been on my mind before the time of his passing but thanks to the virus I was afraid to visit anyone. I'll regret this the remainder of my life. I think very highly of him and miss him. He was a very good friend. I did not even learn of his having passed away until after his funeral.”
