Donald Wayne Maddox Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 81, Donald Wayne Maddox (Childersburg, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Maddox and Eunice Maddox of Childersburg; and his siblings, Charles Allen Maddox (Frances), Lynese Dobbs (Donald), Billy Maddox (Linda), Delores Meeks (BJ) and Linda Jinks (Harold).

He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Scherer (Dusty) and Rachel Rikard (Clay); his grandchildren, Benjamin Scherer, Grant Scherer, Claire Rikard, Jake Rikard and Catherine Rikard; his former wife Sharon S. Maddox; and his siblings, Sandy Giddens and Michael Maddox (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Shades Mountain Baptist Church Student Ministry or Manifold Vision.
