He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lillie Mae Sparks; his children, Curtis Garrett (Trudy Ann) of Tacoma, Washington, John Garrett (Teresa) of Alpine, Alabama, Wilbert Joe Sparks (Veronica) of Mobile, Alabama, George Sparks (Hope) of Sylacauga, Alabama, Dorothy Swain (Zebedee) of Stafford, Virginia and Juanita Hall of Lincoln, Alabama; and his siblings, Joseph Sparks (Joe Buck), Benjamin Sparks and Rosa Pearl Sparks of Talladega, Alabama. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
