She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Johnson and Annie Lee Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Fred Kornegay; her daughters, LeAnn Rhodes (David) and Amber McDickinson (Mark); her grandchildren, Kara Rhodes, Zach Whitlock, Kali Rhodes, Eden Kornegay and Levi Whitlock; her stepgrandchildren, Chaz, Chanisty and Marissa Kate McDickinson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dawson and Emma; her sister Romona Wilson; and her siblings-in-law, Anne Churchwell, Chuck Kornegay (Betty) and Sharron Cochran (Clifford). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home Chapel (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150).
