It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Wayne Ricks of Childersburg, Alabama, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ricks; his granddaughter Erin Jones; his parents, Wilford Ricks and Sadie Ricks; and his siblings, Edna Akers, Donald Ricks and Bobbie Ricks.

He is survived by: his children, Russell Ricks (Shannon), Andy Ricks (Pam), Tim Ricks (Tina) and Jena Sanders (Sadler); his grandchildren, Olivia Agee (Christian), Jarrett Ricks, Alexandra Ricks and Asa Ricks; and his siblings, Gerald Ricks (Gay), Roger Ricks (Doris), Judy Duke (Ed) and Janice Browning (Ronnie).
