He was predeceased by: his parents, Leach Mason and Lizzie Mason. He is survived by: his wife Edwina Deloris Mason; his sister Pearline McKay; his children, Peggy Rheaume (Frank), James Michael Mason (LaGretta) and Sabrina Mason; his grandchildren, LaSonia Fuqua (Thomas), LaToya Mason, Kimberly Rheaume, Michael Mason and Donte Mason; and his siblings-in-law, Freddie Williams (Elizabeth), Curtis Williams (Carlene), Marion Williams (Shelia), Larry Williams (Molly) and Maryneil Foster. He is also survived by Seven great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
