He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas Nix and Bobbie Nix; and his great-grandparent Myrtle Speegle. He is survived by: his parents, Melvin Nix (Diana) and Paulette Nix-Ponder (Monroe); his grandparents, Billy Aday and Betty Aday; his sister Melissa Nix; his stepsiblings, Brandon Merritt, Mikey Merritt, Whitney Myrick (Evan) and Krystal Ponder; and his aunt Amy Aday. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
