He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Blackburn; his parents, Lidwell Blackburn and Mamie Blackburn; and his brother LeRoy Blackburn. He is survived by: his children, Sandy Whitehouse (Ian) of Buffalo, N. Y. and John Blackburn (Tanya) of Cherokee, AL; his sister Lou Minor; his grandchildren, Chase Blackburn, Allie Whitehouse, Lindsay Blackburn and Jake Whitehouse; and the mother of his children Lovella Blackburn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
