He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Hughes McWilliams; his parents, William C. and Ida McWilliams; his stepmother Cora McWilliams; and his siblings, Jack McWilliams, John McWilliams, Evelyn Jones and Dorothy Todd.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Dorobantu, Linda Willingham and Paul McWilliams; and his sisters, Helen Neff, Marilyn Honn and Sara Lou Tirey. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Cherokee Public Library.
