She was predeceased by: her husband Pete Hardy; her son James Hardy; her parents, J. D. Stokes and Elizabeth Stokes; and her brother Johnny Buchannan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Mason (Bill) and Cindy Melton (Jonathan); her siblings, Junior Stokes (Phillis) and Margaret Stokes; her grandchildren, Shaun Melton (Dana), Jordyn Dean (Bradley), Jamie Hardy, Lauryn Faulkner and Kaitlyn Mason; and her great grandchildren, Sarrah Melton, Piper Melton, Keelyn Melton, River Dean, Justice Dean and Amélie Dean.
