He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Franks and Louise Franks; and his sisters, Sharon Franks Thorne and Wanda Franks Applegate. He is survived by: his son Charles Bradley Franks; his siblings, Richard "Ricky" Franks (Guwana), Anthony "Andy" Franks (Jeremi), Marilyn Roddy (Mike) and Tina Cadle (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Destanee Hunt (Jesse) and Dalton Franks; his great grandchild David Hunt; and his close friend Betty Ann Taylor.
