With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe B George of Chelsea, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty George; his parents, Ruby Johnson and Artis Burton George; his sisters, Louise George Whitten, Virginia George Dill and Janelle George Reese; and his grandson Chase Kendrick.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Kendrick (Jeff), Mike George (Cathy) and Wendy Ingram (Jason); his grandchildren, Drew Kendrick, Bradley George, Alexis George, Blake Ingram and Rylee Ingram; and his brothers, Jimmy, Jerry, William and Gary George.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Springs Cemetery (4176 Co Rd 39, Chelsea, AL 35043).
