He is survived by: his wife Dawn Elizabeth Ingram (Rutherford); his sisters, Sarah Bernice Jackson and Mary Melrose Brooks (Jackson); and his daughter Stacey Catherine Staples (Ingram). He is also survived by two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
