He is survived by: his wife Enid Griffin Sikes of Chelsea; his children, Glenn Hunter Sikes (Nancy) of Live Oak, FL, Wendy Ellen Merkl (David) of Pelham, AL, Sean Alan Sikes (Kim) of Lake City, FL, John Aaron Cauthen (Michele) of Atlanta, GA and Kimberley Shannon Yeager (Scott) of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Ronald Jewell (Anastasia) of Pelham, Ross Jewell of Pelham, Ryan Jewell of Pelham, Luke Sikes of Lake City, Peyton Cauthen, Griffin Cauthen of Atlanta, Blaine Tharpe (Thea), Kathleen Tharpe and Brooks Yeager of Fairhope; and his great grandchild Scarlette Jewell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, Chelsea or the American Heart Association.
