It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilene Quimby of Chatom, Alabama, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Payne and Florence Payne of Skipperville, AL.; and her siblings, Louise Childers and Lanier Payne. She is survived by: her husband Burl Vickery Quimby; her children, Larry Burl Quimby (Margaret), Keith Payne Quimby (Kim) and Susan Quimby Ukleja (Robert); her grandchildren, Laura Hanks (Nathan), Alicia Williams (Shaun), Randi Quimby (Phillip Morris), Maggie Blevins (Russell), Ashli Page and Lindsey Kirkland; and her brother Wendall Payne (Mary). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wants your warm hugs and reminiscing of your memories of their Momma (and Ma), but during these crazy times they request social distancing and safety protocols.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Chatom Baptist Church or Washington County Public Library.
