We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2023, at the age of 90, Sherwood Dees in Chatom, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dees and Monnie Bea Weldy Dees; his siblings, George Dees, Harold Dees, Winfred Dees, Marion Dees and Lida Mae Taylor; his son Larin Dees Sr.; and the mother of his children Pearline Ruth Dees (Shirley Dees).
He is survived by: his children, Gaylon Dees (Mary) of Deer Park, AL, Allen Dees (Cathy) of Chatom, AL and Monnie B. Nelson of Fairhope, AL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
