He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus L. Dickey, and Alberta Loper Dickey, Sr.; his wife Faye Prestwood Dickey; and his siblings, Perry Dickey and Charlotte Dickey Williams.
He is survived by: his son Rufus L. Dickey, III (Anna); his grandchildren, Brennan and Fionna Dickey; and his brother Bobby Dickey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chatom Baptist Church in Mr. Rufus Dickey's name.
