She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Downey "Bob"; her parents, Solomon Foster and Mattie Foster; her sister Shirley "Noonie" Sellers; and her granddaughter Joanna Downey.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Downey and Diane Walker; her brother Steve Foster (Joanne); and her grandchildren, Heath Erin Walker and Jamie Sullivan (Michael). She is also survived by six great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
