He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Reed and Victoria Reed (Mary Ruth Reed); his daughter Susan Reed; and his siblings, Clyde Reed, Elva Ray Finklea, Essie Mieleszko and Clara Pugh.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Sherry Dye, Regina Kirksey of Florida, Melinda Beech of Alabama and Sharon Johnson (Tim); and his sister Elsie Spidel. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren 37 Great Grandchildren 11 Great Great Grandchildren.
