She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Herman Charles Patterson. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Henry Patterson (Kimberley), Bruce Charles Patterson (Carmen) and Eric Andrew Patterson (Iris); and also Daphne Hill. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Chatom United Methodist Church, Washington County Library, or Congregation Sha'arai Shomayim, Springhill Avenue Temple, Mobile.
